Scheduling Your Surgery

Dr. Hope and the staff at Center for Cranial and Spinal Surgery understand that this can be a stressful time. We are here to help you and will make every effort to ensure that your experience with us, from start to finish, will be as stress-free as possible.

Health insurance pre-certification

Our surgical coordinator will obtain pre-certification for your surgery from your health insurance provider. If you have questions about your health insurance plan benefits you should contact your insurance provider directly.

Rescheduling or Canceling surgery

Rescheduling surgery is complicated and time consuming. We do understand that unexpected circumstances can occur that make rescheduling necessary. Please check your schedule, coordinate with your employer, if necessary, and anyone who may be assisting you post operatively before you settle on a date with our surgical coordinator. A $250.00 cancellation fee will be charged for a surgery cancellation occurring less than one business week prior to surgery. This charge is waived if surgery is canceled by a physician order or with approval from our practice administrator.
